This site intends to present technical proposals on hydraulic steel structures such as hydraulic gates,
　intake and discharge equipments, silt/sand dischargers etc. which are provided harbour entrances, docks
　and locks along waterways, or dams, weirs, floodgates and power stations on rivers, or irrigation systems.

PROPOSAL６　【SAND/SILT DISCHARGE GATE】

　A technical proposal on silt/sand discharge gates for reservoirs is under consideration. Disclosure of the proposal has to be reserved until completion of the relating technology developments. Details are as follows.

１．Estimation of Proposed Technology

　The result of estimation on the top page is as follows.
（１）Merit: Performance is equal to or more than two times of the ordinary technology.
（２）Still there are risks which prevent the proposal from being realized. Details are as below.
　1) Fundamental subjects have been solved. (Fun. Sub.)
　2) Development of Relating technologies has not been completed. (Tec. Dev.)
　3) The patentee's agreement has not been obtained. (Patentee)
　4) Interests of the beneficiaries coincide with the proposer's. (Bus. His.)
（３）The engineering level is �U (Preliminary design).
